2026 IAOS Conference

Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR SESSION ORGANISERS, CHAIRS, PRESENTERS/SPEAKERS, PANELISTS AND DISCUSSANTS

 

  1. All abstracts (for IPS, CPS and Posters) must be submitted online via the Conference submission system. Please check the Key dates of the Conference. 
  2. All speakers (Organisers, Chairs, Presenters/Speakers, Panelists and Discussants) in any session must be registered participants of the IAOS 2026 Vilnius Conference.
  3. An organiser of IPS may submit more than one proposal for a session, including potential Chairs, Presenters/Speakers, Panelists and Discussants. After the session is approved, the Organiser must provide the names of at least three Presenters/Speakers who will need to submit short abstracts for the session via the Conference submission system. Organisers must also provide the names of the Chair, Panelists and Discussants (if any).
  4. Sessions will last 90 minutes.
  5. A person may participate in multiple sessions. The Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) will organise the programme without scheduling conflicts. Any exceptions will be handled directly with the participants.
  6. Within the same session, any individual (including the Organiser) may serve as either a Presenter/Speaker, Chair, Panelist or Discussant, but should not assume more than one of these roles.
  7. All presentations must be delivered in English.
  8. All presentations should use the official template for the IAOS 2026 Vilnius Conference (to be made available soon).
  9. Speeches without presentation are also allowed.
  10. All Conference presentations must be delivered in person; remote or pre-recorded presentations are not allowed.
  11. Please check the online Conference programme regularly to stay informed of any changes to your session (date, time, room number, list of speakers).
  12. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via e-mail to iaos2026@stat.gov.lt.
